The mission of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources is to prepare leaders in the conservation and sustainable management of forests and other natural resources; to discover ways to restore and better use the earth’s natural resources; and to put into practice forestry and natural resources knowledge.
The school offers four majors in the natural resources field:
Fisheries and Wildlife (with a Pre-Vet option)
Natural Resources Recreation and Tourism
Providing more than 24,000 acres of forest land for student use, small class sizes, and the only 4-year accredited degree programs in the state, Warnell is an excellent choice for students wanting to pursue a career in natural resources management.
